Founded in 2023, Smile Innovations Dental Lab was built around one clear focus: helping doctors navigate implant restorations and full-arch treatment with greater precision, stronger communication, and better digital workflows. We combine deep implant experience with modern lab technology to support restorative outcomes that are accurate, efficient, and thoughtfully executed.
With 80+ years of combined dental experience and 3,000+ cases completed in the past two years, our work is grounded in both experience and consistency.
Founded by Experience
Smile Innovations Dental Lab was founded by Brian and Josh, two professionals whose backgrounds span both the clinical side of implant dentistry and the technical side of lab production and digital workflow.
Brian brings more than 20 years of implant experience, including work with Straumann, Zimmer, and BioHorizons, along with 4 years at Dynamic Dental Solutions and NDX. His background has been shaped by deep involvement in implant systems, restorative workflows, and the evolving needs of doctors treating more advanced cases. Brian was recognized as Straumann’s #1 Global Manager in 2020 and received Implant Rep of the Year in 2018.
Josh brings 13 years of lab experience, beginning in fully analog workflows and progressing through the transition into fully digital dentistry. His experience includes not only hands-on lab production, but also training others in Exocad and digital technologies. That perspective helps shape the way our lab approaches design, communication, and practical workflow improvement.
Together, their backgrounds reflect the balance our lab is built on: implant knowledge, technical experience, and a constant push toward better digital workflows.
A Modern Lab With a Practical Approach
Smile Innovations Dental Lab is a Florida licensed and accredited dental lab and an Encode Empowered Lab through RealGuide. We work with all implant systems and do not use aftermarket parts unless specifically requested, because we believe authentic components support the best prosthetic outcome.
